Hello.
I have a problem with my 1280. It has always run perfectly.
Yesterday I printed a document and turned it off. A few minutes later I turned it back on to print another document, but the red light started blinking (the one that blinks when you're almost out of ink) after I launched the print. I got this message 'A general printer error occurred'. I turned it off and on several times, to no avail.
Ink is ok, the noises from the printer are as usual.
What can I do? I believe it's a minor problem, and don't want to spend hundreds of bucks to have it fixed.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks!

Solid ink light means that cartridge hasn't been recognized, access the Epson status monitor through printer properties and check which is the failing cartridge.
