Olivetti printer problems

I have an Olivetti Any_Way Simple printer. Every time I start it up it gets about half way through it's start-up process then all/most of the lights come on. I have just recently bought new ink, but when I put it in it did not seem to recognize it like normal. Any help (like reseting it perhaps?) would be greatly appreciated!
