I bought my Canon MP630 around six weeks ago, and it prints wonderfully - but the driver, installed from the supplied disk, cause the computer to freeze up intermittently - just on Outlook Express, or my Google homepage (or any website linked to from it). It also keeps on closing the above pages down with error messages. They can freeze up just for a second or two.......right through to being permanently stuck. The printer also intermittently crashes my USB hub, which it plugs into, and turns off all my other USB device's connections. Today I uninstalled the printer driver, and everything worked perfectly again. Just to confirm it, I repeated these actions and sure enough, the driver is the problem. What can I do ? - Surely there's a way around it other than get rid of the printer.
:(

Hi
Windows, with XP. I assumed that as it is a new printer, the drivers would have been up to date. But I'll try that. Thanks.
