We have the following error message on our HP 3600dn color printer:
10.29.00 cartridges not engaged
It says to open/close front door which we have attempted numerous times.
I even turned it off and on, then we tried reinputting the new ink.

HELP!!

You will need a cartridge lock kit. Take it to a repair tech.

This is common problem on this machine (little locks that hold the cartridges in place are broken) but it is a very difficult repair ... 10 on a scale of 10... MichaelTech is right, you will need a technician to replace this.
