I have a HP LaserJet 8150 that is randomly printing off the right side of the page.
Any suggestions? Maintenance kit was installed 34K pages ago. Total page count is 1.141 Million.
Thanks

Do you mean the text/printout is randomly being shifted to the right, all the way down the page?
Or are you seeing random toner streaks on the right-hand side of the page?

Is it with all trays?

The prints come out left side first (portait style) and it looks like there is a huge margin on the left side and printing off the right side all the way down. Then you can print the job again and it looks fine. It's very random.
No random toner streaks.

I have not tried to narrow it down to a tray. I'll try to test it today.

It happens from both trays

Have there been any changes in the Ethernet wiring from the server to the printer? Maybe a motor or a flourscent lamp is putting interference on the cable? Sometimes we have found this kind of a problem by running a temporary cable laid on the floor to eliminate this as a possibility.
Anything in the Error Print out? Anything in the server error cache?
Have you reseated the cables going to the formatter? How many DIMMs? Maybe pull the DIMMs down to one and swap them in and out to isolate a bad one? Another printer you can use to test the DIMMs? Sometimes DIMM seating problems will give strange symptoms like this, depending on how many jobs are stored and where in memory they are stored.
Is there a possiblilty that a hard drive is involved? The hard drive in these printers is a 2.5" drive like they use in laptops and they are notoriously flakey.
Let us know what you find.

Disconnect the LAN cable and run paper path test 50 sheets.
See if off line printing fails.

Good idea Redcow!
I wonder if the laser mirror motor might be slowing down?

We've seen similar (but different) misalignment -- alignment shifted too far to the left -- caused by failing clutches on either the registration assembly or the paper input unit ... It's a timing issue, where the paper is arriving too early/ printing is beginning too late.
If the shift occurs from all the trays (manual feed tray & the lower trays), I would swap the registration assembly.
If it only occurs from the lower trays, I would swap the paper input unit.
As RedCow says, though, I'd be sure to check all paper size settings for each paper tray to be sure those are listed at the correct size.
