Fonts won't print on 4m+

When I change the typeface within the PCL menu I get no results. The same default font prints whether I'm on a Win95 machine or XP machine. Any sugestions? I cannot change the font within the program and I a need a smaller font to fit within the page. Thanks

I believe changing the font, as far as from the Printer menu, only works when printing from DOS-based programs; Windows drivers override any font settings. You can't change the font in your software?
