4700n keeps restarting.

i am working on a 4700n and when i turn it on it reaches the 200MB and then restarts. that is all it does. I replaced the network card thinking that may be it. didnt work. any hints?

Have you tried a Cold Reset ?

Since its pausing during / at the end of the memory check, you could pull various chips out and see if it will boot all the way with a certain chip removed...

yah, thats a good start, but what it's looking for after the memory count is going to be the issue. that would be NVRAM command sets. DC cont. is the next in line, and could be the problem. But, a motor, fan, laser, ITB, fuser can also be it.
