Hi

I'm looking for a flat path printer. I need to print some materials that don't bend easily. I can't find good enough printer specs to tell which ones have a flat path feed rather than a J path. Does anyone know of any flat path printers? (This is for domestic use so I don't want a really expensive one.)

Thanks for your help

The HP Photosmart D5460 and the D7560 can print CD's so I guess they would print card stock or whatever. Try going to Officemax or Staples or someplace like that and ask for a demonstration. These use small ink cartridges for each color and that might get expensive. They make their money off the ink.

Any laserJet 4000 series
Any LaserJet 9000 series
Any LaserJet p3000 series
A LJ4345
A LJ5200
Any LJ3000 series
A LJ4730
Older LaserJets like the 4,4si,5si,8000, etc.

They all have multi purpose trays or manual feed trays. All pull the paper in a straight/flat path.

What's expensive? Are you printing colour, b+w or both. Do you want toner or ink?
