Our LJ 4000 will not feed paper thru manual feed tray. I have replaced the pickup-separation pad and the MP tray pickup roller. The paper gets pulled into the printer - as if the pad and roller are working fine. Paper is about 1/3 of the way in, the roller stops turning and printer reports a paper jam.
"13.5 Paper Jam. Check rear door then open and close top cover". Pull out the toner cartridge and the paper is about an inch from the transfer roller. Is there another roller that continues to feed the paper into the printer? Is there a timing issue that the paper stops feeding before fully into the printer?
All other trays in printer work fine. There is nothing at the back door to prevent feeding paper. Any ideas? Thanks for your help!
