I am having problems with ink particles on the printed sheet. There are several small dots and spots in a pattern at approximately 3" intervals. I've used the cleaning software from HP with no improvement. Please advise.

Probably the toner, and/or transfer roller is dirty. Check fuser for any tears or spots.
