I need to buy a color laser printer with a single sheet feeder in the front. I have a Samsung ML-1710 and a Laserjet 4L, I now need a color laser with the same type of feeder in front. Does anyone have any ideas, I would greatly appreciate it. thanks in advance. Richard

What are you going to be printing?
How many pages a month?
What kind of paper?
How much money?

What kind of paper are you using?.. Are you using plain or glossy? These things should be considered before buying a printer.

I will be printing on laminating sheets and plain paper, about 50-150 sheets a month, mostly single sided laminating sheets for covers, thanks

Nowadays they're not making the "single-sheet" feeders ...

Now most of HP's color printers use a manual feed tray that fold down on the front, and they hold up to 100 sheets at a time (a lot easier than feeding a single sheet through individually!) ... you still get the "straight-through" paper path, you just don't have to stand there and directly feed it into the printer. I can't really think of any application where you would have problems feeding through the manual feed tray...

The HP Color LaserJet 4600 / 4650 are my favorite printers for color ... they are big printers though ... on a smaller scale, probably the Color Laserjet 3000, 3600 , 3800 series would be decent...
