Hi, This printer has a page count of 731427. It had a maintenance kit installed 10,000 pages ago. It is starting to have jamming from tray 2 and 3. The event logs show a number of PAPER FEED 2. PAPER LATE JAM. I replaced the rollers in tray 2 even though they felt and looked fine. I suspect this is not going to fix the problem.

We use Office Depot 20# multipurpose (cheap) 8.5X11 paper out of both trays in great quantity. Is cheap paper more than likely the culprit here?

Thanks for any useful advice.

Your problem could, indeed, be due to the quality of the paper.
The paper feed roller (RB1-6561) could also be a cause of your problem, it is located in the paper pick-up assembly and pretty hard to get at.

If you have another fuser that works, new or old, put it in and see if the late jams go away. I have had these jams happen days after installing a maintenance kit and found that the fuser roller had flat spots. I replaced it and no more late jams. This can also cause misdirected feeds.
