Job Description: Job Responsibilities:
• Manage and administer entire printer fleet (300+ printers) with FollowMe Printing Technology – Hardware plus Software
• Monitor Printer Fleet via HP Web Jetadmin
• Monitor Ticket Queue for Printers using Remedy-Action Request System
• Maintain functionality on Print Servers via Remote Desktop Connection
• Replace toners when necessary
• Printer Break-Fix
• Order accordingly and replace parts.
• Document and update work performed
• Troubleshoot printer hardware, software, and networking problems.
• Configure and install new printers
• Build and configure Printer Queues and Quicksets
• Update Printer Firmware
• Meet SLA on all tickets depending on priority (high, medium, low).
• Review, Suggest Improvements, etc
• Perform Break-Fix repair work on Dell Computer and Laptop systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 5 years minimum experience with printers (HP Preferred).
• HP Printer Certifications Required
• Dell Certifications Required
• Ability to learn and understand software such as FollowMe, Web Jetadmin, Microsoft Office
• Self-driven and be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a positive customer relationship.
• Knowledge of:
o Fusers
o Transfer Belts
o Maintenance Kits
o Jet Direct
o Networking
o Trays
o Able to identify & troubleshoot failed printer components
o HP Web Jetadmin & HP Digital Sending Software is a Plus and will be required after training
