Print faints at a certain line of page. Printer HP P2014. I tried removing and shaking cartridge but it didn't work. How can I solve the problem? Thanks in advance.

If the line is vertical then it is most likely either the toner cartridge or some toner contamination on the laser assembly mirrors. Pull the toner cartridge and slide the image roller cover back. If this looks good it is probably the laser assy. I had this problem today on an HP 2200. It had five small spots of toner powder on the mirror. Take the top cover off and you can see the laser assy. When you pull the top cover you will need to disconnect the rod that actuates the coupling that turns the toner cartridge. The laser has two or three wiring harnesses to unplug and a ribbon cable. The final mirror that reflects the laser beam down to the toner cartridge is probably dirty. It is a front surface mirror so be careful not to scratch it. Not a good idea to use compressed air (gas) to blow it off as the powder might go up into the laser housing.

It's horizontal(line).

Is it a repetitive line? If it is the toner cartridge or the fuser it will repeat over and over down the page.

Edit: For horizontal outputs fainted region is horizontal and for vertical pages it's vertically placed. However in both cases the region placed in the middle of the page.
Edit no2: I changed print quality from 600dpi to 1200 dpi(FastRes) and problem solved.
Thanks for your assistance.
