I have had the HP Laserjet 1600 for a few years now and it has been working well. I have it connected to a laptop in my home network and the laptop is running XP SP3. I shared out this printer to be used on my home network. Recently I bought a new pc and it is running Vista64 bit. I downloaded the 64 bit drivers off this site and installed the Laserjet 1600 as a network printer. I can print a test page just fine and also can print any time from notepad, but when I try to print from any other application (Word, pdf or photoshop etc.) nothing happens. The dialog box goes away, no error messages on my pc or on the printer. We also have a Mac on the network and it can print to this printer just fine from any application. I did re-install the drivers as well. Any ideas please????
