HP Laserjet 4000N

I have a HP Laserjet 4000N that will not properly feed paper from the trays. I have installed a maintenance kit that included a new fuser, transfer roller and feed rollers for the 2 trays.

I double checked everything and did and it all looks okay, but every time I try to print it ends up in a jam, pre-fuser.

Any help would be appreciated.

Exactly where does it jam? i.e. how far pre fuser is the leading paper edge?

Try feeding from tray 1. Sometimes I have seen problems with the tray # 2 and # 3 that were not obvious to a casual observer. Can you swap trays with another printer?
