Noise is coming from fuser area but I am not totally certain that it is not the fuser drive. Any thoughts?

there is a gear assy. at the upper left in the fuser cavity. One may be worn.
Check the exit assy. is seated. Or, your fuser is going bad.

Worn out fuser bushings cause lower pressure roller gear to not mesh with the printers gears. Replace fuser.
