Hello,
I have an HP 3700 with no error messages but it is squeaking it seems when the paper pickup starts rolling. Any ideas outside of replacing the paper pickup assy.?
Thanks,
John

There are many things that can cause squeaking noises ... toner cartridges ... fusers ... gear assemblies ... exit assemblies ...

See if you can determine by listening closely which area of the printer (top/bottom, front/back) its coming from ... have any components (particularly toners or fusers) been changed recently?

If you run paper through the manual feed instead of the standard cassette, do you still hear the noise?

Run cartridge test with all but one of them in the printer. If it still squeaks
Remove that cartridge and try another. That will eliminate or confirm the cartridges.

Also follow through with CS's suggestion of using the MFT
