HP 3210 Configuration settings

I have a HP photosmart 3210 all-in-one that uses 363 series ink cartridges,I bought this printer in England & on my return to Australia I find the cartridges are called the 02 series,They are exactly the same but they will not work unless i change the configuration settings, HP are happy to get a techie to call & talk me through the changes but this means the 1st cartridge to run out means a complete new set,leaving me with 5 new & 5 used cartridges which are of no use, this is a lot of money to waste & its realy annoying that Hp find it necessary to set their printers up this way,(whats wrong with universal settings) Does anyone know a way I can get the printer to accept both cartridges at the same time.
