Ok... I have a HP Color LaserJet 2600n and I am trying to use it for the first time. I only have a black toner cartridge in it, because that is all I have. I just want to print black text. Whenever I try to print I hit a wall because it tells me to install the other colored toners, but I don't have them. Is there some way I can get around this. I have already tried putting a check in the "print in grayscale" box, but it is still doing the same thing.
Please help!
Thanks so much in advance!

Why did you get a color printer if you don't want to print in color?
You need all the colors to print.

On some color models you can do this ... there is a special "diagnostic" mode called "Disable Cartridge Check"... however (based on browsing the Service Manual for the LaserJet 2600) it does not appear the 2600 model supports this feature . Sorry!

Thanks guys!
I got a good deal on this printer, but at the time I didn't know that I would have to have all of the cartridges, but it looks as though I do
Thanks again for taking the time to throw some information my way. :)
