Hi,
We (being environment concious souls) want to use professionally refilled cartridges in our printer. Our black cartridges have been no problem, however, the colour ones (CL-38) fail to be recognised by the printer once refilled. Upon querying this with Canon, they said not to use refills and to use their new cartridges instead (not unexpected, considering this is very profitable for them). Any ideas as to how to get around this?
Also, any advice on how to override the need for a colour cartridge would be appreciated, as - currently - the printer will only print if both cartridges are present... regardless of whether it's been set to grayscale, etc.
Thanking you in advance,
Russell Taylor
