1. Best brand of laser printers?

2. Can you recommend a particular brand and model that works really well and lasts long? (preferrably one that is currently under $150)

3. Can a laser printer handle sheets of labels? I often print on Avery labels but I'm worried that the sheet may get jammed inside the printer since it's a little thick.

4. Are there any other components I still need to buy after I buy a new printer? Such a a drum? Toner? Cartridge? Or are they already included?

Hi:
I do a lot of printing at home. I would recommend an HP 5n. They are work horses, you can get one for about $100, the last one I bought came with a new cartridge (about $80) and a NIC. About the only thing that goes wrong with them is the upper and lower feed rollers in the back of the printer and they are easy to change and do not cost much. Try your local HP service shop or a seller of surplus computer stuff. Also try Google or Ebay?

Hi Again:
Sorry I missed your question about labels. I print a lot of labels
on my HP LJ4 and they work fine as long as you put them in Tray 1.
If you do buy an older HP LaserJet look for one with a fairly low
page count.
