HI everone:
I help folk with a number of LaserJet 4000 series printers. Usually I access the interface via the network after setting up a fixed IP for each unit. However one unit is on a parallel port and so I can't get at that interface. Is there anyway to do that other than putting a net cable between printer and computer, doing the setup and then putting things back? or, would it be better just to drop a little switch on the desk and put them both on that?
ideas would be appreciated.
