Im not sure this is the right forum for my type of problem? But ill give it a go:
I have my desktop pc connected via LAN to a wireless ethernet router. I have a hp psc 1317 printer connected to that Pc. I need help connecting that printer, on the wireless network to a remote laptop.
Ive followed normal instructions all over the internet, sharing the printer.. naming it.. checking the LAN enables printer sharing etc.. but when it comes down to finding the printer from my laptop it goes weird...
When i attempt to add a new printer as instructed, i select to browse via wi fi for a printer shared on the network, and rather than finding my printer all i find is "Microsoft Windows Network" - which is bloody annoying >:[
