We recently replaced our toner cartridge, and the following problem resulted.
My printouts from this copy machine are now dark as hell, with vertical streaks down the page. They've got repetative defects at 3.75 inches, which I believe corrolates to the transfer drum's size.
It's like the new toner cartridge started pumping out massive amounts of toner. I don't get it. I've cleaned the transfer drum once, and it doesn't look like the drum is scratched or anything. But after the first print out after the cleaning, it's once again covered in toner, with the same pattern of streaks as appears on the print outs.
Any help?
