I have <u>samsung scx-4300</u> laser printer. I want to edit the scanned text but i was unable to do it with given readies software. What should i do.

Try Foxit reader

http://www.foxitsoftware.com/

It lets you edit pdf files.

Actually, it saves the scanned paper in image format of JPG. How to edit in that.

Sounds like you need different scanning software, software with "Optical Character Recognition (OCR)" capability ... If your software only gives you the option to scan the page in as a JPG, you will not be able to edit the document as text ... one program I know that has that OCR capability is called PaperPort, it has a lot of features & is very user friendly, & it is actually included with a lot of new scanners.
