The toner cartridge was replaced with a new one from an unopened box - (OEM cartridge). The Toner Low message is still displaying. I went to Configuration Menu, New Toner Cartridge=NO & changed to YES, pressed Select, then Go but the message is still there. I looked in the Service Mode menus, but found nothing relating to Toner cartridge there. I've tried turning off/on printer.
Anyone know how to reset this message?
Thx in advance for any help.

You could try cold resetting the printer, but if it is networked
you will have to restore the IP address.
Sometimes these errors go away after printing a bunch of pages.
Shaking the new cartridge might help.

Inside the toner cartridge is a "toner level detector". It is connected to the HVPS when the cartridge is installed. When the toner level drops below a predefined level, the "toner low" msg appears.
It's possible that the cartridge is bad, the HVPS is bad or maybe the contacts are dirty.
Clean the contacts.
