my hp lj3380 is printing single page jobs fine, however, if i send a multi-page job to the printer, the first, second and all subsequent pages are printed on the same side of the same sheet of paper, overlaying the previous print. I've uninstalled and re-installed the driver but with no effect. any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Just to clarify your problem,
If you send a five(5) page report to your printer, All five(5) sheets will print on one(1) sheet of paper as if you fed the same sheet thru five(5) times?
You own the True Al Gore Environmentally Green printer. It's in economode saving paper:D
That being said, let's get this fixed, as I'm not an Al Gore fan.
I would probably start with the old Reset.
1)Press ENTER/MENU 2)Simultaneously PRESS then RELEASE * then # to enter Developers Reset(This is a soft reset. No loss of data or configuration settings).3) Press < or > button until the message REINIT FFS appears on the second line of the control panel. 4) Press MENU/ENTER. 5)Takes about 2.5 minutes. 6) When READY appears on display press CANCEL to exit.
If that doesn't fix the problem there is always the NVRAM Init.
After looking at the manual, I would also consider the formatter. Do the RESET first, it's cheaper.

Thanks for the reply redcow. the reset did not fix the problem, so i guess i'll try NVRAM Init. Could you explain that to me?

Do you have duplex? Check the driver for any settings that may produce the issue like n-up, or booklet printing. Check application settings also.
Are you using network? The NIC, and/or the formatter may be the trouble.
