I am working on a CLJ 3600n, replacing the cartridge locks, followint the documentation for replacement provided by HP. Things have been moving along well, except as I was getting ready to install the MDA, a black "L" shaped piece of plastice fell off, and I am not sure where it came off or how to reinstall it. After perusing the Service Manual, I have identified the piece as the PCA Sheild. If anyone could help me figure out how to reinstall it, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

long end up - flat part toward the front
when installed correctly - front cover switch is next to the top cartridge motor. Make sure you lock in the alignment knobs of the PCA Shield.
email me at: prntrfxr@comcast.net and I'll send you installation instructions with color photos attached. cause its hard to describe. hope this helps. :)

This part goes on the lower right of the MDA, and kinda clips on to it with the long flat side into a slot above the PCA board. Remove all cables on the PCA to install it. {the part is not really necessary}
