Need some help.
I'm working on a LJ5200(Q7545A). I believe that the "Cassette-paper pickup unit" for the MFT is bad.
The manual shows how to remove and replace it. The parts manual shows its picture which is in Figure 7-3, with the caption "see paper pickup assembly". There isn't one. There isn't even a table 7-3 with the part numbers for Figure 7-3!!!!!

Does anyone have a number for the "cassette paper pickup unit"?

Here are two sources that might be able to help:

If you go to the HP site enter your country
then Q7547A and it will take you to the parts
location. It does show a "Cassette Pickup Assy."
but I am not sure if that is what you need.
Click on the blue lightbulb icon on the left and
it will show you a parts breakdown illustration.

If it is failing to pick up the paper then cleaning
or replacing the rubber pickup rollers would be
easier and cheaper.

Thanks Big, What I needed was the "cartridge door unit"(RM1-2458-000CN).
It contains the MFT pull down door, the roller and sep pad, and the gear that makes it go round.

Its problem was and is labels and heavy stock paper. Plain paper feeds fine from the MFT. As soon as labels are loaded the lifter goes up and down, the roller turns, the label sheet moves exactly 1 1/8" into the printer and stops. The replacement assembly (with new roller and sep pad) cost me 2 hours of labor, but I didn't make the problem worse.

Time to call support.
