Hi

I'm trying to print 3 different documents. I'm trying to print one copy of each document, but when I try to print Document A, it prints more than one page.

The page is set to print in A4 in the print page setup on my windows xp machine.

I get an error on the printer

41.3 Error Unexpected Paper Size

and then says

Use 11x17 instead?

In order to print each document, I have to physically cancel the job for Document A, then print Document B, cancle that one and then print Document C.

This is a problem, because this printer is a network printer, within an office. So I need it to be able to work.

Thanks

little bit confused, maybe this is a dumb question but:

are all three documents different size paper?
check physical tray settings, is it set to A4?
is the p/u roller good?
what about the separation pad?

If the rollers and pad are not good they can cause more than one page to be pulled. It makes the printer think that the paper is longer because its tripping the sensor too long. Therefore, the printer asks if you are trying to run larger paper. The above may resolve your problem. If not, we move to level II in the troubleshooting game. Hope this helps :).

-- Somehow your printer is not aware that you have A4 paper loaded in the tray...it believes you have 11x17 paper loaded instead... that's why it asks you, "Use 11x17 instead?" When you send a document that the computer knows is A4 size to a printer that thinks it has 11x17 paper, the printer makes the decision to split the contents up into "2" pages ...

-- You need to adjust the physical paper size settings, make sure the plastic "sliders" in the tray are adjusted to A4 ...
