Ink out on new carts has been a biatch on these units. Of all the tech sites I go to, I finally found this:
Startup to the date on screen. Push - & +, screen goes blank.
push 456, it will give message to turn off ink gauge. Press 1
Repeat, useing 789, turn off ink gauge, press 1. Voila!
Will still show 0 % for cart, but will print color untill it is really empty.
The battery thing never worked for me, but this is the bomb!
