We are getting a long delay any time we print PowerPoint documents. Can memory be added to this machine (if so, what type and how is it installed) or is there settings that will help the printer to process faster?

Thanks.

For increased speed, you might experiment with a different driver ...
Here's a tutorial on drivers : http://www.printertechs.com/tech/tutorials/drivers/installdrivers1.php

Yes, memory can be added and may help ... installing printer memory is very similar to installing computer memory ... you unscrew the formatter board from the back of the printer and then you lock each memory chip down into the memory slots in the formatter...

(PrinterTechs sells this memory -- for pricing 608-831-2396)

You should be using a Postscript driver for these files. They have a lot of bloated info in them. More memory is good, but it is the transfer of the file that is slowing things down. Can you use another app for the work you are doing? Try Adobe PDF, or or Pagemaker.
