i have a hp laserjet4 plus and i'm getting the error code "50 Service" can someone tell me how to fix this probelm, thanks

50 Service means fuser has failed either to warm up to a temp that it needs to operate, defective heater element "reqiures replacement" of heater element. That is the most common cause of a 50 Service for a HP LaserJet 4 Plus, but also dont think that is the only cause, the power supply can also cause this. But also beware when replacing the fuser the power supply can fry the fuser, making the replacement fuser useless.

You can measure the ohms of the fuser resistance also, if there isnt any reading of the Ohms that means the fuser as failed.

You can repair this problem by usually changing the fuser unit or changing the power supply, but in some cases you have to replace both fuser and power supply.
