Does anyone have any suggestions about troubleshooting a HP Laserjet 2550 that is becoming increasingly noisier. [It sounds like a groan during printing. ] Print quality is still very good.

There are less than 9,000 printed.

The imaging drum was replaced and has about 3300 pages remaining.

Thank you for your help.

does it happen when the carousel is turning?

If so, it may be out of alignment. - remove covers to line it up or you could have broken or damaged gear/s in carousel drive. RG5-7579 for whole asm.

hope this helps

If the output is good, I don't think that the gears are out of alignment.
