HP Color Laserjet 4600dn Cartridge Issue

My HP Color Laserjet 4600dn is displaying an error message stating that non HP cartridges are in use... which is not true. And since the error message appeared there has been a substantial delay (more than 2 minutes) between sending the print job and the printer responding. Any suggestions?

Had this issue a few months ago. The NVRAM on both the DC Controller, and the formatter have to be re-synced. If one is corrupt, it will just copy the bad info to the other. There is a engineering mode to do this, : Hold stop button at memory count. All lights lit, press check once, menu once, scroll down to clear data, press check. then reboot. Upload the new RFU file. It will reboot itself, and show the logo. But it has to be done three to five times. Use WebJet Admin to upload new firmware, even if you have the latest.

Will this same key press sequence work on a LJ4050n?

update the firmware using lan or parallel cable.by updating firmware those bugs will be removed.
