I just installed a cartidge a recycled for Dell 940 cartidge for my 940 printer it would print the test page fine but a document it had a blue word from the color cartidge it doesn't have any tape on it either.The peice
that clips doesn't stay on the cartdige wahich it had on the other.

Return the cartridge. Exchange it for a good one.

Yes Redcow is right in stating straight go and exchange it ..

But then how come it is printing the test page while and acting differently with Doc prints.. seems a little concern.. just try to querry on that part and let know..

Before you run any kind of tests you need a known good cartridge, not one with missing or broken pieces, exchange it for a good cartridge.
