My story starts out with earlier today. At my house, the network computer, an HP Colorjet 2600n, has been down for a while, and my family has put me in charge of the saving us. Generally, I'm pretty good with computers, but have no experience with printers. So it said that the printer spool is not working, and everyone on the internet said that if I could fix that, the printer would work.
So I got it up and running again because I followed a Microsoft tutorial, and messed with the registry. So after it was all said and done, I got my computer to see the printer, but now I can’t print. I know that’s really vague, but I can add more details if that helps.
The tutorial I used is http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q223418/
One is that in the queue, it says that I'm trying to print like 106974 pages of a test page, when I tried to print only one. I can answer any questions that you guys ask, and try to be a cooperative printer newbie.
