I'll start off by giving the known.
Firmware is the latest. All cartridges and drum are HP.
Printer powers up and shows Black cartridge as being new(which it is), all other cartridges and drum are displayed as empty(they too are new). Can't get it to print or copy or scan.
I replaced the formatter. Same problem. You are able to scroll through the menus and when you press the check mark to print, nothing happens. I reset the NVRAM and was able to print the configuration and Demo. But the empty cartridge problem is still displayed. I put the original formatter back in. Results are back to the first paragraph, however I didn't reset the NVRAM, because I don't know what the Customer settings are.
Any ideas?
