I am using Win XP. I have an HP D4260 inkjet printer. I go to control panel, printers & faxes, right click on my hp deskjet icon, printing preferences, features tab. When I click on printer services button, I get a crazy error and refuses to open. I could attach a screenshot but the forum shows I cant upload more than 19kb picture files and it is 89 kb. I tried to make it 19kb and it is much too tiny to see.

I could try to write it out:

1u[[k[[[[[k[[[[[[ <--this is in the blue title bar at top of little pop-up window.

unable to perform the operation <---error message

Driver issue...

You probably want to try downloading the driver scrubber for your printer model and get that to remove all the cr*p and then try again..

As a rule though the drivers from HP tend to be awful so when you re-install it's often better to just grab the driver only download, decompress it and then do a manual "Have disk" install, pointing to the expanded driver content when prompted.

Whats the difference between an Inkjet printer and a Laser printer? I would like to know the positives and negatives of the two printers. Quality, Value, Resourceful (ink consumption) Until a week ago, i didnt even know there was such a think as "laser printers'

Really good to hear that you awoke from your coma.
Automobiles have replaced the horse and people can now fly in aeroplanes. Most telephones now have push buttons.
You missed alot.
