HP Color Laserjet 4700DN "Replace Fuser Kit"

I have a customer with a HP Color Laserjet 4700DN and it displays " Replace Fuser Kit" I have replaced the fuser and it works fine but cannot clear the message?? Ive tried the reset screen, holding the checkmark down when the printer is checking mem on startup for New Maint kit, went into service mode, Nothing has the option of resetting the Fuser count. anyone have any suggestions that I havnt tried?

Try the "system setup" menu. Replace supplies, see if it's in there.

Maybe it's a bad fuser you installed?

I dont think the fuser is bad, the machine is working perfectly, and even if that were true it should still give me the option of clearing the count, but thanks for the suggestion

When you hold the check button, wait for all three lights to stay on.
Press the up arrow once, then the menu button.
You will get a new maintenence kit line on the screen.
