HP4000 Feedback?

I have just acquired an HP4000. No experience with laserjets or with HP. I now use a Lexmark inkjet which also does scanning. I like the idea of longer lasting toner over inkjet cartriges but know I will have to get a stand-a-lone scanner if I use laserjet . Anyone have any history and opinions on this model HP? Seems very robust. I assume it will only do B&W? I downloaded the driver and tested it - works fine. Opinions, suggestions?

It's my main document printer at the house. My duplexer just died, but other than that it's been great. Yes it only prints the color black and some shades of gray.

Very hardy, business-class printer... will last for years if properly maintained.
