Tray 2 Jammed Hp laserJet 4700

Can anybody know how to open a jammed tray for Hp LaserJet 4700?

It probably ran out of paper and the metal inside Jammed.

Please advise.

Can you get your hand into it from the back?

There are no opening in the back.

Yes, the flap panel comes off, and you can reach in to lower the metal piece in the tray. This tray has several parts that could have popped up, so check the top edge with a something thin like a ruler to prize it down.

Thanks, Michael for the reply. What I did was shook the tray and it came off.

Then I replaced the whole tray. Many thanks to everyone who helped me.
