I have a friend with a HP Color LJ 2605dtn that is printing green where it suppossed to be black, and the magentas aren't printing either. I HAVE REPLACED EVERY TONER CARTRIDGE WITH GENUINE HP NEW ONES - NO FIX. I have also searched the printer's HP Manual and countless forums on the internet, and they lead me to believe it is the laser/scanner assembly (due to its orientation and dust build-up on the mirrors). I have the part, but wanted to know if there was a step-by-step tutorial anyone knew of before I dive right in with a screwdriver. I learned my lesson in the past trying to install a new swing plate assembly on an 4250 without looking for help. If anyone can assist I really appreciate it.
