We've just bough 2 4250's and put them on our network.
We run a case management system here with over 1000 documents that have been formatted to print to certain trays in a particular order. They were formatted using the settings of some of the older 4050's and 4100's.
The 2 new printers, and the 4200 printer we have for that matter, just chose to print on whatever tray they want to, as having them as your default printer simply seems to wipe out the page settings in word documents. Without having to reformat a 1000 documents (as we still have 4050, and 4100), and without having to put macros on everyone's machines to change the tray settings before printing, is there any way of telling the new printers to do as they are told? :)
Thanks.
