Hi I have installed a new cartridge in our 4100n and it is still asking for another,I have reset new toner in the reset menu but still no go any ideas gratefully recieved

Is it an original HP cartridge?
That could make a difference.

No its not original but it has run all its life on these toner units

I would try an original cartridge if I were you.
