HP P2015 won't feed from bottom tray

Have an HP P2015 printer with two trays. Works fine from top tray but will not pull paper from bottom tray. When you try it is looks like it working but it don't and you get a blinking light on the ! up top of the printer.

Anyone know what I could try to get this fixed???

You should start by replacing the tray's pickup roller and separation pad ... the rubber on these parts can wear out...
