We replaced a registration roller assym. on one of our 4250dtn's. Much more involved than we originally thought it would be. We had to remove the DC controller assym. to get to the screw and gear clip. Once the printer was put back together, when it powers on it will count up memory, go to ready, but no gears turn at all and only one fan (on left side of printer looking straight at printer) seems to be running. We double checked all cables and everything looks Ok. If you try a test print, the data light flashes, but the printer will not print and is deadly silent. Any idea on what we may have screwed up?
Thanks in advance.

Did you mean the swing plate assembly? The transfer roller doesn't require any screws to be removed. Sounds like something is still unplugged.

If he took out the logic board to replace the transfer roller, you KNOW he's got a screw loose!
This is where giving end users advice comes back to haunt you.

On my screen Alexj doesn't mention the xfer roller at all. I've got he replaced the "registration roller ***'y".
Pull all the connectors off the DC Controller and put them back on.
