2500n lights blinking

Changed out the black cartridge on my 2500n color laser jet - now all 4 color cartridge lights are blinking like they all need to be relplaced - nothing seems to clear the lights - help!

this printer has a carasel that spins if one end binds up it jumps the teeth and the alinment is now out of sink with the arrows its not easy to put it back but it can be done not for novic
