HP 9050dn Keeps changind ip address

Hello everyone. I have about 27 9050's that I did a firmware upgrade on and ever since then my network has been screwy. My printers print sporadically and sometimes change ip address on there own. Can someone pls help me here.

Upgrade the firmware on the Jetdirect cards. Use WebJet Admin.
If the network has been upgraded, you may need new JD's.

I had a similar problem on a 3700DN (recently) and a 4050TN (some years ago), even though they were out of warranty I called HP (in the UK) and they sent me replacement JetDirect cards, no questions asked. I get the feeling there's a known issue with these cards so HP just replace them to avoid a class action suit?

I don't remember, does the 9050 have a JetDirect card or an embedded JD?

If it's a card make sure it's not a 615n

Reguarding the upgrade: Did you use WebJet Admin? If you downloaded the files, did you turn off firewall and spam filters? These will deny some files that are needed. WJA will upload the files properly, and make it easy to perform.
